Prefer a standalone binary?

Download a standalone binary for your operating system and processor. No language runtime is needed.

Rename the downloaded file to faqieh (faqieh.exe on Windows) and place it in a folder on your PATH. On macOS and Linux, run this command in that folder.

Read every segment of an Arabic transcript. Replace 123 with a recording ID from your search results.

Save a transcript file

Save a PDF with Bash or zsh using the command below. Replace 123 with a recording ID. You can also request txt or srt; change the file extension to match.

If a PDF is still being prepared, the command asks you to retry later. The final file is replaced only after a successful download.

Ready for your scripts

JSON by default: Commands return one page of JSON. Add --table for readable rows, or use -f with --filter-lang jq to select exactly the fields you need.
Fetch more pages: Add --all to fetch up to 25 pages. Set a different limit with --max-pages N. Reaching the limit returns partial results with a warning.
